By using ChalkReel, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

ChalkReel may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms.

ChalkReel Workspace

• ChalkReel is a browser-based film breakdown tool for uploading local source video, drawing annotations, saving project data, recording commentary, and exporting breakdowns.
• Source video used in the studio is designed to stay in your browser unless you choose a hosted or cloud feature that uploads specific output or project data.
• Some features are experimental, beta, or browser-dependent and may change, fail, or be removed.

Accounts and Hosted Features

• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
• Hosted share links, cloud saves, dashboards, and account features may have limits, quotas, or availability restrictions.
• You are responsible for the recordings, titles, notes, descriptions, and other content you choose to save or share.

Your Content

You keep ownership of the videos, recordings, notes, and other content you create or upload. You grant ChalkReel the limited rights needed to operate features you use, such as saving project data, creating hosted share links, displaying shared recordings, and delivering account services.

• Only use footage, images, names, likenesses, audio, and other materials that you have the right to use.
• Do not upload, record, or share content that violates laws, privacy rights, intellectual property rights, team policies, league rules, school policies, or platform rules.
• Do not use ChalkReel to harass, threaten, exploit, impersonate, or harm others.

Acceptable Use

• Do not interfere with, reverse engineer, overload, scrape, or abuse ChalkReel systems.
• Do not attempt to bypass storage limits, account controls, security protections, or access restrictions.
• Do not submit malicious files, code, spam, or unlawful content.

Downloads and Exports

ChalkReel exports are generated by your browser and may depend on browser support, device performance, media permissions, codec support, and available storage. Review important recordings before relying on them.

ChalkReel is a workflow and communication tool. It does not provide legal, medical, recruiting, compliance, coaching certification, or professional advice.

Availability and Changes

ChalkReel is provided as available. Features may be interrupted, changed, limited, or discontinued. Data should be backed up when it matters to you.

Disclaimers and Liability

ChalkReel is provided without warranties to the fullest extent allowed by law. ChalkReel is not responsible for lost data, failed recordings, unavailable features, browser issues, device issues, third-party services, or indirect damages.
